Avenida Palace Hotel - the only Palace in Lisbon's downtown - was projected at the end of the XIX century by master José Luís Monteiro,one of the most distinguished portuguese architects with portfolio in Paris, the same architect who projected Rossio's Train Terminal. The most advanced techniques and most appropriate and specialized materials were utilized in its construction.
This famous Hotel was inaugurated in 1892, a period considered as the Belle Époque, and viewed as one of the best hotels in europe by its glamour, location and service.
Throughout time, it has been updated and targeted for enumerous transformations. In 1998, it was completely creatively remodeled so as to not forget all technological innovations, placing it as one of the best hotels in the country, due to its decor, exquisite architecture, and glamour.
Habitually frequented by famous individualities of the financial world, the politics, the church and the arts, Avenida Palace Hotel as assisted the implantation of the Portuguese Republic, the Civil War of Spain and Second World War, having been an active stage of political plots and espionage.

ROOMS AND SUITES
All 82 rooms, furnished in classic style, reflect the confort and charm that are a permanent characteristic of the Hotel, and help to assure a high level of service with access to recent technologies.
The Hotel has 1 Presidential Suite, 6 Executive Suites, and 11 Junior Suites - all very spacious and with panoramic views of Lisbon's Downtown district.
The Presidential Suite is composed of a living room and two bed rooms, each with private bathrooms.
The Executive and Junior Suites have views to the Restauradores Square, Rossio, Saint George's Castle, Baixa Pombalina or Avenida da Liberdade.
All rooms are totally sound proof, equiped with A/C and marble coated bathrooms with air drier and 110-220 electrical outlets, direct telephone, mini-bar, safe. Local and SAT TV, music channels and wireless (WIFI) internet access are services equally available.
Avenida Palace is a "non-smoking" Hotel, however, our guests that wish to smoke can do so at the Palace Lounge near the Bar.

Decorated in classic english style, the Bar envites relaxing moments of sheer interaction, while one savours a cocktail prepared by one of our professionals. In the magificent and relinquished Palace Lounge also from the portfolio of the famous decorator

Palace's Tea LoungeThis Tea Service takes place every Tuesdays and Thursdays between 4PM and 6PM until em of May. It becomes available again November 11th. The service provides a wide selection of Teas complemented with mini-sandwiches, scones and diverse pastry delicacies. It is served in a pleasant Lounge with natural light and piano live music.

Therapies and Massages
“Lymphatic drainage” – manual technique used to drain and clean macro cells and cellular residues that do not enter the vein ( blood) system due to its sizes and that often remain in the body due to a bad lymphatic drainage.
